There are three different roles in Bitly, each with its own permissions:
- Users: These are individual users who can create links and view metrics within one or more groups.
- Group admins: Group admins can manage the users and custom domains for one or more groups.
- Account admins: Account admins have universal access to the account's settings and users. They manage users, groups, custom domains, apps, integrations, and all other settings.
You can have different permissions in different groups and different accounts. For example, you can have user-level access in one group and be a group admin in another, while also being an account admin in a separate account.
