How do I delete a Bitly Link?

When you delete a link, it no longer works when clicked. If there's a Bitly Code associated with it, the code no longer works, either. Deleted links are permanently removed from your account.

If you've edited or redirected a link, it cannot be deleted. All links can be hidden, though. Visit How do I hide links? to learn how.

Please note that a link's back-half cannot be reused, even if you delete or hide the link.

To delete a link:

1. Log in to your Bitly account.
2. Click Links in the left sidebar.
   
3. Find the link you want to delete. If you have a lot of links, use search or filters.
4. Click the three dots on the link, then select Delete.
   
5. Confirm your choice.
