Links that have not been edited or redirected can be deleted. If you can't delete a link, you can hide it. A hidden link still functions when anyone clicks it, but it doesn't appear in your Bitly pages or analytics.
Please note that hiding or deleting a link will not free up a previously used back-half for a new link.
Let's take a look at how to:
To delete or hide a link:
- Go to your All Links page.
- Select the link from the list. You can also use the search at the top of the page to find a specific link.
- Click the three dots next to the Edit button and select Hide or Delete. If the link has been edited or redirected, you won't have the option to delete, but you can still hide it.
- Confirm your choice.
To hide multiple links:
You can't delete multiple links at once, but you can hide them.
- Go to your All Links page.
- Select the checkboxes next to the links you'd like to hide.
- Select Hide.
- Click Yes.
To view your hidden links:
- Go to your All Links page.
- On the filter bar, check the Hidden Links Only box.
To unhide a link:
- View your hidden links using the steps above.
- Select the link you want to unhide.
- Click the three dots next to the Edit button. Select Show.
- Click Show.
