This feature is available with some paid plans
You can export data for a select group of links from two places:
The export from the Links page shows data for each link separately, while Bitly Analytics shows aggregate data for the selected links.
The date range and amount of data available depends on your subscription plan. Visit our pricing page for details.
Export data from the Links page
Use these steps to export data for a single link or a selection of links (up to 100). To export data for all of your links, visit How do I export all data from the Links page?
For any links you’ve redirected, the export file shows the total number of engagements for all versions of the link.
To export data for a selection of links from the Links page:
- Log in to your Bitly account.
- Click Links in the left sidebar.
- Optionally, apply any relevant filters. Check out How do I find links in my account? to learn more about filters.
- Select the links to include in the export. Click the checkbox at the top to select all visible links.
Note: Up to 100 links can be exported at a time. For more, export all data from the Links page.
- Click Export, then select the option to export your selected links.
- The report downloads automatically.
The fields included with the report are:
- Bitlink (even custom links have this field)
- Custom Bitlink (if a custom back-half was used for that particular link)
- Long URL
- Clicks (for the maximum duration available with your subscription plan)
- Status (e.g. if the link has been deleted)
Export data from an Analytics dashboard
Bitly Analytics shows combined engagement data for your links. You can export the data from individual modules.
To export data for a selection of links from the Analytics page:
- Log in to your Bitly account.
- Click Analytics in the left sidebar.
- Click the title of the Analytics dashboard you want to work on.
- Use filters to select the links you want. Optionally, set a custom date range for your data.
In accounts with multiple users, each user can only filter dashboards they created. Group admins can filter any dashboard in their group and account admins can filter all dashboards in the account.
- On the module you want to export, click the download icon and select the format for this data. You can export it as a CSV file or download the module image.
- The report downloads automatically.
