How do I filter my link data for a specific date range?

View data for all of your links together on an Analytics dashboard or for a single link on its Link Details page. Which would you like to filter?

Filtering by date on an Analytics dashboard

In accounts with multiple users, each user can only filter dashboards they created. Group admins can filter any dashboard in their group and account admins can filter all dashboards in the account.

To filter your data for a specific date range:

1. Log in to your Bitly account.
2. Click Analytics in the left sidebar.
   
3. Click the title of the Analytics dashboard you want to work on.
   
4. Click the date selector in the top-left corner of the page.
   
5. Choose a preset time period or set a custom date range.
   
6. Click Apply.

By default, your Analytics dashboard shows data for the most recent 7 days. To reset your selection, follow these steps again and select Last 7 days.

Filtering by date on the Links page

To view a link's metrics for a specific date range:

1. Log in to your Bitly account.
2. Click Links in the left sidebar.
3. Select your link. Use search or filters to find it, if necessary.
   
4. Click on the date filter above the engagements over time graph.

   Note: To filter for a single day, select the dates immediately before and after it as your start and end dates.
