Bitly can direct traffic to the right destination, whether your content is in a mobile app or is web-only.
For a mobile deep link to send traffic to your mobile app, the URL has to exist within the app. To have even more control over which links go to your app vs. mobile web, use a subdomain or another custom domain.
Multiple domains are available with Enterprise subscriptions. Adding a subdomain counts as an additional domain. Contact your Customer Success Manager to add additional domains to your account.
Using a subdomain for mobile deep links
A subdomain is a way to create a variation of a domain by changing the letters on the left side of a URL. For example, the URL for the Bitly Help Center (this site!) is support.bitly.com. That's a subdomain of bitly.com.
If you use you.me as your custom domain, you could create a subdomain m.you.me. Then, you could use that subdomain for all mobile deep links, while using your custom domain for links that go to mobile web.
