2-Factor authentication protects your account by requiring you to enter a security code (sent to your mobile device) to log in.
To disable 2-Factor authentication:
- Log in to your Bitly account.
- Click Settings in the left sidebar.
- In the Profile section of your settings, scroll down to 2-Factor authentication.
- Click Disable.
- A six-digit code is sent to your mobile device. Enter that code and click Disable.
If you don't have access to your account
If you have problems accessing your account, we can disable 2-Factor authentication for you — once account ownership has been verified. Contact your Account Manager or use our chatbot in the lower-right corner of this page to contact support.
