If your company restricts or filters IP addresses on its network, then you need to allowlist Bitly's IP addresses. This is typically done through your IT department. IP address restricting is often used by larger organizations that have set up extra security parameters.
It is important to allowlist Bitly's IP addresses to ensure they are not accidentally flagged as malicious.
Bitly currently serves our core applications via the following IP addresses:
- 67.199.248.0/24
- 199.91.151.0/24
A few things to know:
- These IP addresses are used to connect to our services, not what we use to deliver webhook events.
- The IP addresses are in CIDR notation.
- In order to access all of our services, please ensure that TCP ports 80 and 443 are allowed via the IP range above.
- These IPs may change in the future, and we will keep this page up to date.
