Why integrate Bitly with Adobe Express?
Connect your Bitly and Adobe Express accounts to easily drag and drop your QR Codes or short links into your designs. You can create new QR Codes or short links within Adobe Express or quickly insert any from your Bitly account.
Any QR Codes or short links you create in-app can be accessed again anytime within Adobe Express or in your Bitly account. This means you can reuse the same QR Code or short link on multiple designs.
In addition to giving you the ability to create reusable QR Codes or short links, you can redirect them right from Adobe Express. And of course, you'll still have access to all the engagement data associated with your QR Codes and Bitly Links within your Bitly account.
How do I use the Bitly Adobe Express app?

Connect Bitly to Adobe Express
The first time you use the Bitly app, you're asked to sign in.
To connect your Bitly account to Adobe Express:
- Go to Bitly Links and QR Codes in the Adobe add-on marketplace. Log in to your Adobe account, if necessary.
- Click + Add.

Click Open. Then skip ahead to step 6.
If you already have a project open, select Add-ons from the App menu in the left sidebar and search for Bitly to open the Bitly app. - Select the Bitly add-on.
- Click + Add.
- Click Connect account.
- Sign in to your Bitly account, if necessary and click Allow to authorize the Bitly Adobe Extension to use your account.
Bitly will now show on the left side under Your add-ons.
Create a new QR Code and or short link in Adobe Express
To create:
- Log in to your Adobe Express account and open a project.
- Click Create.
- Choose to create a stand alone QR Code, short link, or a QR Code with a paired short link, by selecting QR Code and Short link.

Fill out the QR Code and or short link details and click Create.
- Your QR Code or short link is created and ready to be added to your design, but you can also customize it. All of your customization options are here. Customization options vary by subscription plan.
Once you're happy with it, click or drag the QR Code or short link to add it to your design. Click Link to view, insert, or edit the associated link. Click Details to edit the title or redirect the destination. Click Track to view total clicks and scans.
Add an existing QR Code and or short link to a design
The Bitly app in the right panel of Adobe Express shows all of your QR Codes and or short links.
To add an existing QR Code and or short link to an Adobe Express design:
- Log in to your Adobe Express account and open a project.
- Select QR Codes or Links in the right sidebar.
- Click on the three dots next to the QR Code or Link and select Insert QR Code or Insert link.
Another option is to select the QR Code and Click and drag the QR Code into your design.
Customize your QR Codes and or short links
After you create a new QR Code and or short link in the Bitly Adobe app, you have the option to customize it before adding it to your design. All of your customization options are here — there's no need to leave Adobe Express to customize your QR Codes and or short links!
You're also able to customize QR Codes and or short links you've previously created. The Bitly Adobe Express app shows all of your created QR Codes and or short links.
To customize an existing QR Code in Adobe Express:
- Log in to your Adobe Express account and open a project.
- Select QR Codes or Links in the right sidebar.
- Select an existing QR Code or Link.

Change groups or accounts
If you're in multiple accounts or have multiple groups in your account, the Bitly Adobe Express app uses your default API group and/or default account. To change the account or group your QR Codes and or links are created in, click Settings:
Make your selections from the drop down menus and click the back button.
