There are a couple of ways to find engagement metrics for your links:
Engagement data is available with some paid plans.
Take a shortcut
There's a shortcut to jump right to the metrics for any link you create through your Bitly account. This is the easiest way to find the link's information.
- Log in to your Bitly account.
- Type or paste the Bitly link in your browser's address bar, and then add a plus sign (+) to the end. For example, to find data for bitly.is/meta, we could go to bitly.is/meta+.
- The link with the "+" takes you to the link-preview page. This preview page also allows anyone to make sure a link is safe before clicking it.
-
Click View the click data in the box beneath the link's destination to go to that link's metrics within your account.
If someone uses this shortcut and is not logged in to the account that created it, they only see the link's destination. Visitors are not able to view any other link data.
Search your Bitly account
You can search for the link in your Bitly account through the Links, Custom Links, or Dashboard pages. The Dashboard is available with some paid plans.
- Log in to your Bitly account.
- If you have multiple groups, check the top-left of the window to confirm that you're in the correct group. To change groups, click on the group name and select the correct one.
- Select the location of your link from the left sidebar. Select Custom Links for links with a custom domain and customized back-half, like your.brand/is_great. Choose Links or Dashboard for all other links.
- Enter the link in the Search field and press Enter.
- Click the matching link in the filtered results.
- Scroll down on the right to view the metrics for this link.
