This feature is available with some paid plans
There are two ways to view click data for a specific link. You can find it on the Links page in your account or, if you don't currently have Bitly open, we have a handy shortcut you can use to go directly to the metrics for any link.
For any links that you've redirected, your metrics include the total number of engagements for all versions of that link. This is a change from how we previously displayed engagement data, which only included clicks and scans for the current version.
Find link data on the Links page
To view your click and scan data:
- Log in to your Bitly account.
- Click Links in the left sidebar.
- Select your link. Use search or filters to find it, if necessary.
Note: The number engagements shown in this list is the total for the maximum duration available on your subscription plan. Go to the billing and usage section of your account settings to view your limits.
- At the top of the page, view your total engagements, engagements in the last 7 days, and week-over-week change.
The engagements field includes all link clicks, QR Code scans, and Link-in-bio button clicks for the maximum duration available on your subscription plan. Go to the billing and usage section of your account settings to view your limits.
- Scroll down to view more engagement data. Engagements over time shows all link clicks, QR Code scans, and Link-in-bio button clicks associated with this short link, for the selected time period. Click any of those engagement types to filter them out.
- Locations, Referrers, and Devices also display total data for your selected time period. To change your time range, click the date selector above Engagements over time. To filter for a single day, select the dates immediately before and after it as your start and end dates.
Use a shortcut to go directly to the link's metrics
To view your click and scan data:
- Go to the Bitly Link Checker.
- Enter your short link and click Check link. This takes you to the link preview page.
- Click View the click data in the box beneath the link's destination.
- This takes you to that link's page in your account. If you're not already logged in to your Bitly account, you'll be prompted to log in first.
- At the top of the page, view your total engagements, engagements in the last 7 days, and week-over-week change.

If someone uses this shortcut and is not logged in to the account that created it, they only see the link's destination. Visitors are not able to view any other link data.
