Engagement data, available with some paid plans, shows how many clicks and scans your Bitly Links and Bitly Codes have gotten. Depending on your subscription plan, your metrics include referrers — the places where your links were shared and clicked.
Scans from a Bitly Code are shown as Bitly QR Code in the referrers list. Similarly, clicks from your Bitly Page are shown as Bitly Link-in-bio. Clicks from emails and text messages, plus any time a link was pasted or typed directly into a browser, are shown as Direct.
As of May 2024, we've renamed the core parts of our product: Short Links are Bitly Links, QR Codes are Bitly Codes, and Link-in-bio pages are Bitly Pages. These changes reflect how the different parts of the Connections Platform work together and the many ways you can use our platform.
