How do I add Bitly to Microsoft Edge?

With Bitly's browser extension, you can add Bitly to your Microsoft Edge toolbar and quickly shorten a URL without leaving the page.

Microsoft Edge uses the same browser extension as Google Chrome.

To install the Bitly browser extension on Microsoft Edge:

1. In Microsoft Edge, go to the Bitly extension in the Chrome Web Store.
2. Click Get.
   
3. If a pop-up displays asking you to allow extensions from other stores, select Allow.
   
4. Select Add Extension.
   

When the extension is installed, the Bitly icon appears in your browser's toolbar. If it's not in the toolbar, click the extensions icon (a puzzle piece), then click the show-in-toolbar icon (an eye with a line through it) next to the Bitly extension.
