Preparing the template for bulk link shortening
To get started, download our template:
As you work on the file, be careful not to change any of the column names or remove any columns.
Only one column is required: Long URL. In this column, include the long links you want to shorten. When you upload your links, you can choose whether to use bit.ly or a custom domain for these links.
In the optional columns, you can add:
- Custom backhalfs
- Tags
- Link title
- UTM parameters
If you don't use one or more of these fields, clear the sample content that exists in the template, while leaving the column headers unchanged.
When you're done, save it as a .csv or .xlsx file.
When using an Excel file, only the first sheet will be processed.
