Every link you create in Bitly is unique and tied to a specific long URL. Once a back-half is used for one link, it cannot be used for another with the same domain, even in another group.
While you can't use the exact same back-half, you can use the same terms in different links in a couple of ways.
- Change the capitalization. Bitly links are case sensitive, so that yourcompany.com/ourfavoritelink is different from yourcompany.com/OurFavoriteLink.
- Add numbers, underscores, or hyphens. For example, yourcompany.com/our_favorite_link
or yourcompany.com/our-favorite-link.
