How do I build and customize my own reports on the Analytics dashboard?

The Analytics page is set up with default modules, all of which can be rearranged, edited, or deleted. You can also create your own custom modules.

Create a module

Your Analytics page can have up to 25 modules at a time.

To add a module to your report:

1. Log in to your Bitly account.
2. Click Analytics in the left sidebar.
   
3. Click Add module.
   
4. Select a chart type from the dropdown menu. A preview of your new module displays on the right side of the page.
   
5. Select a visualization. Note: The visualizations available for your new module vary by chart type.
   
6. Click Add to dashboard.
   

Edit or delete a module

Deleting a module is permanent. It can't be recovered but you can always create a new version of the same module.

To edit or delete a module:

1. Log in to your Bitly account.
2. Click Analytics in the left sidebar.
   
3. Click the three dots on the module you want to edit or delete.
   
4. Select either Edit or Delete.
   
5. To delete the module, click Delete on the confirmation popup.
   
6. If you're editing the module, you can select a new chart type and/or visualization. Then click Save.
   

Rearrange modules

Use the drag handle in the upper-left corner of the module you want to move and drag it to your desired location. The other modules adjust automatically based on where you place the module.
