How do I add links and other content blocks to a Bitly Page?

In May 2024, Bitly Link-in-bio was renamed Bitly Pages. We made this change to reflect the many different ways that you can use a Page. Learn more at What are Bitly Pages?

There are two ways to add links to your Bitly Page:

• Add a new or existing link in the Pages section of your account
• Add an existing link from your Links section

Add a link to a Bitly Page

To add a new link to a Bitly Page:

1. Log in to your Bitly account.
2. Click Pages in the left sidebar.
   
3. Click Edit on your Bitly Page. If you have multiple pages, be sure to select the correct one.
   
4. Click + Add.
   
5. Select Add next to Link.
   
6. Add a title and, optionally, a description. Both title and description will be shown on your Bitly Page.

   Only include alphanumeric characters (a-z, A-Z, 0-9), dashes, and underscores. 
   

7. To add a thumbnail image to the button, click the empty thumbnail next to the button label. Then upload your image and click Save.

8. Choose if you want to create a new link or one that you've already shortened.
   • For a new link, enter the destination URL. If you have a custom domain, you can select it here. Custom domains are available with paid plans.
     
   • To use a link you've already shortened, search for it by back-half, destination URL, or title.
     
9. To schedule this link to appear later or to have it automatically unpublish at a certain time, click Set Schedule. Select the date and time for it to publish and/or unpublish, as necessary.
   
10. Click Create.

Arrange your content

You can reorder your content (link buttons, YouTube videos, and inline images) by dragging and dropping them in the list. You can also pin one or more items to the top of the list.

Publish your changes

All changes you make to your Bitly Page are saved as a draft. If you leave this page, you won't lose your changes. When you're ready for them to go live, click Publish changes.

Add links from the Links section

To add links to a Bitly Page:

1. Log in to your Bitly account.
2. Click Links in the left sidebar.
   
3. Select the link you want to add to a Bitly Page.
   
4. Click Add to a page.
   
5. Click Add next to the page you want to add the link to.
   
6. The link title is filled in automatically. You can change it now and add a description, if desired. Both title and description will be shown on your page.
   
7. To add a thumbnail image to the button, click the empty thumbnail next to the button label. Then upload your image and click Save.
