When someone logs in to your Bitly account on a new device or browser, we'll send you an email notifying you of the login. We send this email to protect your account from unauthorized access.
You'll also get this notification when you sign in after you deleted your cookies, or if you signed in while browsing in Incognito mode or a private browser.
If you were the one to sign in, you can safely disregard the email.
If it wasn't you, there are a few steps you can take to protect your account. First, reset your password and, for added protection, set up 2-factor verification. You can also log out of all devices in your account settings:
- Click Settings in the left sidebar.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Profile page until you find Access history.
- Click Log out of all sessions.
