What is bitly?

bitly allows you to easily save and share your favorite links from around the web.

After you sign up for a free account you will see the option to paste a link in the top right corner of your page.


Simply paste a link into this area, and it will automatically save as a shortlink. You will have the option to share the shortlink with others via facebook, twitter or email. You can also copy the shortlink we provide for easy sharing. 

All links you save will be accessible at any time in your bitmarks list located underneath the ‘Your Stuff’ tab when logged in. 

From here you can still share your shortlinks via Twitter, Facebook or Email. You can also add notes to each bitly link, or add them to bundles.
